The City Organization (Welfare) was founded by Transport and Logistics professionals serving in senior position in different national and multinational companies as their social responsibility to give back to society and find space for less privileged citizens. As all founding members have decided to meet routine expenses through their own resources .Make this organization visible in all cities of Pakistan .That is why founding members are not from a single city. Aim is to MAKE all projects financial and self-sustainable.

Captain Raffat Zaheer sadly passed away on 13th September 2015.He was President of The City Organization Welfare and was a leading member of International Transportation Industry.He was a pioneer and advocate for adoption of new techniques and methods within the Industry, in particular in the area of multimodal transport.Moreover he had 50 years of professional expertise in the Shipping and Transport Industry working in the Far East and South Asia.Outside this professional arena, Captain Raffat Zaheer was committed to philanthropic efforts within Pakistan and was a dedicated and active member of Rotary Club of Karachi Defence and Association of Road User of Pakistan.
